the f143 is fob factory’s very first wide straight-fit jean - relaxed but not too baggy - and is made in japan from 14oz selvedge denim using cameroonian cotton. this wonderfully irregular denim is woven with a uniquely slubby yarn called "rocky," known for its rugged, uneven surface, reminiscent of the contours of the rocky mountains. woven slowly and carefully on an old-style shuttle loom (gl3) under low tension, this denim offers a distinctive character and feel.
