this beautiful charcoal jungle cloth a-2 jacket by buzz rickson's is part of the "type black" militaria cooperation with science fiction novelist william gibson. gibson designed a fictional black ma-1 jacket from buzz rickson's for his protagonist in his book "pattern recognition", and the idea for an all-black collection was born.
this a-2 jacket is made in japan from densely woven jungle cloth and develops a unique and beautiful patina with increasing wear, creating a distinctive character. the classic atmosphere is enhanced by mixed ribs, knitted with two colored yarns.
