the boot socks by japanese label ues were specially developed for boots with a higher shaft such as engineer boots. the knee-length socks are made in japan from a dororon cotton-dralon mix. dralon® is an acrylic fiber that is very similar to natural fibers in look and feel, but with its teflon coating dralon® is highly water-repellent and is therefore often used for outdoor textiles. dororon cotton with excellent sweat-absorbing and fast-drying properties is used for the body surface thread. it is an excellent material for all-season with deodorant function and heat insulation. in the toe and heel area ues used curl yarn in order to improve the wear resistance and the effect of slip prevention. vecause of their length these socks are perfect fort he colder months.
