1st pat-rn | vittorio veneto "melton knit" pure wool
the vittorio veneto blazer is 1st pat-rn's take on the classic navy blazer. the name vittorio veneto derives from the homonymous town on the treviso hills, but also from the glorious ship of the royal italian navy, launched on 25 July 1937.
1st pat-rn's navy blazer was first presented at pitti uomo in 2012 and has undergone slight modifications ever since. the blazer is made in italy from a “melton knit” of 100% pure virgin wool, is wonderfully light and soft and keeps you nice and warm at the same time. the half lining and the inside pocket are made of natural-colored, recycled jersey made of pure cotton.
the golden brass buttons with ring fastening are from the same manufacturer that supplies the italian navy. if the gold is too flashy or “too navy”, the buttons can be quickly and easily removed and replaced with black corozo buttons - included with every jacket - which immediately gives the blazer a completely different aesthetic.
